We hosted a Beer Mile from our house during a party for a running group--it was to raise money for a local middle school cross-country team that doesn't have enough funds for uniforms and racing fees. We raised over $1200! No small part of that was these sweet little trophies. I know it sounds silly, but once I posted photos of these trophies--and my runner friends KNEW there'd be trophies--then the BUZZ began. Every runner wants a trophy--even for something silly like a Beer Mile. A trophy means a race is LEGIT. Also, can't get over how excellent these trophies are for the price--you simply cannot tell we didn't spend much for them. They are fantastic--and the smiles on the winners' faces were priceless.
